Robert M. Black

Business Succession
Planning Specialist

Robert Black, a business succession planning specialist at OneTeam Financial, has been providing financial advice to clients for more than four decades.

As an advisor to high-net-worth business owners, executives, physicians, and other successful professionals, Bob works closely with each client’s professional team of advisors specializing in retirement income distribution strategies, life insurance reviews and legacy planning. Based on a foundation of honesty and integrity, Robert develops holistic financial plans to help increase and transition hard-earned savings across multiple generations.

No stranger to the critical need for financial planning and sustaining benefits of life insurance, Bob faced financial realities at just 16 years old when his father—the family bread winner—passed away unexpectedly. His decades-long focus on helping others prepare for the unexpected came full circle when two of his daughters succumbed to terminal illnesses within a four-year period. Robert’s personal experiences and those of his clients have deepened his passion for protecting families through careful financial planning.

Robert received a Bachelor of Science degree from St. Peter’s University in Jersey City, New Jersey. He also holds a life & health insurance license, as well as several securities registrations.

Recognized and respected for his financial planning knowledge and his undeniable passion for helping others, Robert is often invited to speak before audiences at industry events, civic groups, bar associations and professional medical societies. He is a two-term past president of the Monmouth-Ocean Chapter of the Society of Financial Service Professionals.
